2017/19 USDA SBIR Phase II award
VRM Labs is announced by USDA as a recipient of a $600K two-year grant for the development and commercialization of their flocculant for waste water recovery. 


2018 SC Launch invested $200,000 into VRM labs, Inc.
SCRA’s SC Launch program announced investment in VRM Labs. The SC Launch program is SCRA’s entrepreneurial platform that provides mentoring, grants and investments to qualified, South Carolina companies in the Advanced Materials/Manufacturing, Information Technology and/or Life Sciences industries.

​2016 USDA SBIR Phase I awards
VRM Labs was awarded two competitive SBIR Phase I awards by the U.S. Department of Agriculture to study antioxidants for human food and natural flocculants.


NSF I-CORPS award
VRM Labs was awarded a competitive I-CORPS grant by National Science Foundation. This grant allowed us to complete entrepreneurial training at UC Berkeley Haas School of Business. VRM Labs completed this course with the highest number of "in person" customer development interviews.

SC Launch grant
